Every step of my journey has shaped how I serve others. By drawing on my experiences and background, I’ve found a way to guide people through life’s most important decisions with care and integrity.
Buying my first home in 2009 changed everything. For nearly twenty years, I had been working as an engineer in the corporate world, following a predictable career path. But the process of purchasing that house showed me a new field where I could make a difference. We went through four different agents before closing on our home. Some were unresponsive, others lacked market knowledge, and the overall experience left me thinking about how I could apply my skills and diverse cultural background to do the job better.

My family is originally from India, but I was born and raised in Panama. At 17, we moved to the United States, infusing my life with three distinct cultures. I learned early on how to adapt quickly to new places and opportunities while carrying my unique background with me. That diversity has become one of my greatest strengths, giving me the ability to connect with people from many walks of life. My family also instilled in me the importance of living honestly, working hard, and showing respect to others.
Years in engineering also taught me precision, problem-solving, and discipline. I learned how to analyze complex situations, manage details carefully, and keep working toward results with consistency.

All of this came together in real estate when I earned my license in 2014. I worked closely with a mentor, Jack Mossman, who left a deep impression on me. He was known for doing things the correct way, thorough, honest, and principled. He led by example, doing the right thing even when no one was looking. That commitment to integrity became the foundation of how I built my practice. My background also proved to be an asset. Being shaped by Indian, Hispanic, and American cultures allowed me to connect with a wide range of clients, whether in English, Punjabi, Hindi or Spanish, and gave me a perspective that helped people feel understood and supported.
The transition from engineering to real estate wasn’t immediate. For a time, I balanced both, keeping my corporate role while slowly building a client base. Eventually, I went full-time. The journey has had its challenges, but it has also proven to be one of the best decisions of my life. Over the years, I have worked through shifting markets including the tail end of the foreclosure era and the disruption during COVID. Each cycle reinforced the same truth: life keeps moving, and people’s needs change, no matter what the market is doing. My role is to stay consistent and focused on supporting them through those transitions.

The most rewarding part of real estate has been helping people, knowing I’m making a real difference. Clients want to work with someone who understands them and cares, building those genuine connections is what makes this work so fulfilling.
Real estate has also impacted my personal life, giving me more flexibility with my time. It is a constant balancing act, but I can ensure I have time for my wife, Jyoti, and our daughters, Sharan, who is studying public health at San Diego State, and Naaz, who is in high school. I also make time to play tennis, which has become a passion over the past decade. I’m part of a community of more than 200 players locally and support a youth program that helps kids learn the sport. I also enjoy boating and wake surfing when I get the time!
At the center of it all are the values that have carried me from Panama to the Bay Area, from engineering into real estate: work hard, live honestly, and treat people with respect. Those principles remain the guide for everything I do.
One experience early in my career stays with me. I was door-knocking during the foreclosure market and met a homeowner who was ready to shut the door in my face. Then I spoke a few words in Spanish. His entire demeanor changed—he invited me in, offered me a drink, and we ended up working together. That moment reminded me how much people want to feel heard, understood, and connected when making life-changing decisions like buying or selling a home.
My focus is primarily on listings, buyers, investors, and commercial clients. Having invested personally, I can approach those conversations with practical insight. My engineering background trained me to be disciplined, detail-oriented, and adaptable, skills that carry over into contracts, negotiations, and problem-solving. I’ve built a strong network of trusted service providers and make it a priority to go above and beyond, often treating clients like family. Honesty, responsiveness, and genuine connection form the foundation of every relationship I build in this business.
Sincerely,

Angad Bhullar
